About us

TRIGEMA W. Grupp KG, based in Burladingen, Swabia, was founded in 1919 and is Germany's largest manufacturer of sports and leisure wear. Our company offers high-quality sports and leisurewear as well as underwear for men, women and children. The TRIGEMA family business stands for state-of-the-art technology, for social and economic responsibility and for maintaining Germany as a production location.

TRIGEMA was founded in 1919 by Josef Mayer as "Mechanische Trikotwarenfabrik Gebr. Mayer KG" and has been managed by Wolfgang and Bonita Grupp in the 4th generation since 1969.

The values of TRIGEMA lie in the community as a company family. While innovation here means the successful development of high-quality products, it is also a matter of course to guarantee jobs in the Swabian Alb. With 100% quality at a fair price, we exceed the social and environmental standards of the industry, e.g. low water consumption, less use of chemicals, our own electricity generation, short transportation routes, fair working conditions and a job guarantee. TRIGEMA's added value amounts to 78%. TRIGEMA embodies transparency in every area: even visitors are given an insight into the transparent production on site by means of factory tours. Since 1969, the family-run company has not had any short-time working or redundancies. Every year, TRIGEMA trains around 40 young people in the areas of production, administration and sales in a total of eight apprenticeships. The children of the 1,200 TRIGEMA employees are guaranteed an apprenticeship or a job after leaving school.

As a multi-channel company...

...TRIGEMA offers its product range via various sales channels. All TRIGEMA products are offered in 44 so-called test stores, each covering an area of 400-500m². The online store first went online in 2004. TRIGEMA also cooperates with retail customers and supplies personalized clothing to industry, the healthcare sector and leisure facilities.
