Garment Production
The fourth production stage marks the completion of textile manufacturing and combines craftsmanship with continuous development. In this phase, the focus is no longer on raw materials or fabric properties, but on the interaction of all previous steps. This is where it becomes clear how well knitting, finishing and garment production work together. At the same time, new models, optimized processing techniques and improved workflows are created. Short distances between production and development enable direct feedback: insights from everyday production flow immediately into further development. Step 4 therefore stands not only for completion, but also for stability, control and long-term product quality.

Sewing Department
In the sewing room, the individual cut pieces are assembled into finished garments. Craftsmanship and technical process control come together here. Every work step is clearly defined and follows a fixed sequence. Different sewing machines are used depending on the material, seam type and function. Route cards and digital recording systems accompany the process and ensure that work steps remain traceable. This makes it possible to see at any time which steps have been carried out and where a product was made. This structure creates process reliability without limiting the flexibility of craftsmanship. Deviations can be detected early and corrected directly, resulting in consistently high processing quality.
Development Department
In the development department, new models, patterns and processing solutions are created. Materials are tested, fits are checked and details are adjusted until function, wearing comfort and workmanship are in harmony. Proximity to production plays a central role here: new ideas are not developed in isolation, but evaluated under real production conditions. This shows at an early stage whether a concept is technically feasible and permanently reproducible. The development department therefore serves as the interface between design and production. It ensures that new products are not only convincing in terms of design, but can also be manufactured efficiently and with stable quality. Development thus becomes an ongoing process that continuously improves the entire production.
Production and Final Inspection
In line and modular production, garments are created in clearly structured yet flexible workflows. While individual work steps are organized in a fixed sequence in line production, several processing steps are combined within one production module in modular production. A team accompanies the garment through several stations and bears a high level of responsibility for the final result. This form of production is particularly suitable for smaller series, models with many variations or more complex items, and enables quick adjustments during the ongoing process. In this way, efficiency and craftsmanship are combined to create differentiated product manufacturing.
Before a garment leaves production, it passes through final inspection. At the beginning, barcodes and hangtags are attached or checked for correct assignment and positioning. This is followed by a comprehensive quality inspection. Loose threads are removed and seams are reworked if necessary. Finally, the garment is carefully checked and prepared for proper handover. This final step ensures that every product meets the defined quality requirements and is delivered in perfect condition.
Each type of refinement places different demands on the material, surface and level of wear. The choice of the right process determines how it feels and how it performs in everyday use. After refinement, the pieces are assembled in the sewing room. This combines technical processing with clear assignment even before final production.
