The Wolfgang and Elisabeth Grupp Foundation

The charitable Wolfgang and Elisabeth Grupp Foundation was established on the occasion of owner and managing director Wolfgang Grupp's 50th birthday. The foundation provides financial support to clubs and various social institutions in Burladingen and the surrounding area. It also offers assistance in acute emergencies and times of need.

For example, the foundation covered the cost of purchasing new emergency vehicles for the German Red Cross in Burladingen-Ringingen and for the Burladingen social services organisation. Thanks to a donation of one million euros from the foundation, the new sports hall in Burladingen bears the name „trigema Arena“. The renovation of the town hall was also supported with a financial contribution.

At the same time, the foundation has supported registration drives organised by Deutsche Leukämie-Hilfe in the fight against blood cancer for many years.

When the neighbouring municipality of Jungingen was hit by severe flooding in 2008, the foundation provided support for flood damage relief.

The foundation is also active in the cultural sector. It supported the International Youth Music Festival held in Burladingen. In addition, the foundation covered the cost of purchasing a new grand piano for the youth music school and supported the „SingPause“ project at schools in the district with a donation to the town of Burladingen.

On the occasion of the company's 100th anniversary in 2019, another donation was made, which was used, among other things, for the construction of the new municipal kindergarten.

Following the devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria at the beginning of 2023, the foundation donated to support the many earthquake victims. In close and continuous consultation with Günther-Martin Pauli, District Administrator of the Zollernalb district, our donation was directed to refugee camps supported by the district. In cooperation with „Wir im Ländle e.V.“, those affected were provided with urgently needed supplies.
