How much do you earn as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering during the apprenticeship?
As a production mechanic in training, you earn 1,310 € gross per month in the first year of your apprenticeship. In the second year, your salary increases to 1,360 €. In the third year, you earn 1,445 €, and in the fourth year you earn 1,530 €.

Where do you work as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering?
You work at trigema in the electrical department with six trained electricians, are involved in all processes right from the start of your apprenticeship and are deployed throughout the entire company. In addition to the electrical department, you will also gain exciting insights into the IT department. During the individual stages of your apprenticeship and the individual work steps, you will receive active support from our experienced trainers.
What do you do as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering?

Your tasks as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering include installing electrical components and systems in the areas of electrical power supply, industrial operating systems or building systems and automation technology.

You design system modifications and expansions, install cable routing systems and power lines, set up machines and drive systems, and assemble switching devices.

As an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, you also program, configure and test systems and safety devices. You also monitor the systems, carry out regular maintenance and inspections, and repair them in the event of faults.

How does the apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering work?

In the first year of your apprenticeship, you will be introduced to operational and technical communication, planning and organizing work, and evaluating work results. You will learn how to assemble and connect electrical equipment, measure and analyze electrical functions and systems, and assess the safety of electrical systems and equipment. Where is the vocational school? How often do you attend vocational school?
The vocational school for the school-based part of the apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering is the Philipp-Matthäus-Hahn School in Balingen. Lessons take place part-time in blocks across all apprenticeship years, which means that you will alternate between one week at school and one week working at the company.
