How do I care for my shirt?

Our men's T-shirts are extremely easy to care for. Items made from pure cotton can be machine-washed at up to 60°C. They can also go in the tumble dryer without damage. The colors stay vibrant – black stays black and does not turn gray. However, always follow the care instructions on the label. Some men's shirts, for example, contain polyester. In this case, you should avoid washing temperatures that are too high and iron at a lower heat. You can also find information about caring for our collections online.

As a general rule: cotton is very durable. Simply pull your shirt back into shape while it is still damp. This will help prevent it from losing its shape.

Which size is the right one?

If you are not sure which size is right for your basic shirt, do the following:

Lay a well-fitting shirt flat and smooth on a table in front of you. First measure the chest circumference (A) and multiply it by 2. Then measure the length (B) and sleeve length (D). After that, you can easily see in our size chart which top will fit.

trigema shirts are extremely true to size. Using our best seller for men as an example, you can use the size chart to find the right size for your shirt. S, M, L, XL, XXL, 3XL, 4XL or 5XL – slim fit or regular fit – with logo print or all-over print – the online selection is huge.

What occasion do you need the men's T-shirt for?

For sports, as an undershirt, casually with jeans, or as a sleep shirt? Long sleeves or short sleeves? A T-shirt has long been more than „just“ a T-shirt. trigema not only makes them in different colors, sizes and fits (e.g. slim fit), but also in different fabric qualities tailored to their specific uses.

Do you want a pure cotton shirt? Pay attention to the color!

If you have chosen a men's T-shirt made from pure cotton, please pay attention to the color. The reason: for cotton shirts in melange colors, we blend in 50% polyester. This is due to technical reasons. The melange effect can only be achieved if a second fabric component is added to the cotton.

Red, blue, black and white are certainly the top sellers – but have you already discovered "Sangria" or "Goldlack-Melange"? You can also find these colors online in our shop at a reasonable price.

How to style your T-shirt

A men's T-shirt, much like a polo shirt, is not just a casual basic. You can also look elegant, sporty or simply impressive in it. It is no coincidence that these short-sleeved tops also make it onto the runways of the world. The neckline also plays a decisive role in styling: crew neck or V-neck – it makes a huge difference which neckline you choose. The V-neck draws your counterpart's attention to your neck and chest area. Practical if you want to distract from problem areas.

The crew neck is the timeless classic. It is not quite as striking as a V-neck, but both collar shapes have one thing in common: they are incredibly easy to combine!

Try adding a stylish scarf or enhance your neck and chest area with jewelry. Tattoos on the neck or nape are eye-catching anyway. With a stylish men's T-shirt, they stand out even more. The color selection at trigema makes choosing the right shirt even easier.

How your new shirt is made

trigema manufactures its men's and women's items in a four-stage production process, 100% in Germany. First, fabric is made from the cotton yarn that we source from Greece and Turkey. This is done using the circular knitting process in our in-house knitting mill.

The finished fabric is then bleached and dyed. We dye not only in the basic colors black, blue, red and white, but also in many other color variations. For this, we use state-of-the-art equipment that consumes little energy and water.

In the cutting department, computer-controlled machines cut the individual garment pieces from the finished fabric. Front, back, sleeves, neckbands, and so on. The individual parts are then sent to the garment production department, where hundreds of seamstresses and tailors sew them together in several factories to create the finished product.

Finally, your new top is finished by either printing or embroidering it.
